I am all about DIY–From–Scratch recipes. I love the enticing smells lingering throughout the house. I delight in knowing my growing kids are getting nutritious foods (just ignore those yummy peppermint hearts up there). And I breathe a sigh of relief knowing there’s nothing artificial or weird on our plates when I serve dinner.
But, as I’ve said before, I’m not a huge fan of spending hours upon hours in the kitchen every single day. I’d much rather be outside digging in the dirt, watching my kids play, or playing with my bees. That’s why, with few exceptions, you’ll find wholesome, usually healthful meals that make the mouth water while still being fast and easy.
Because who wants to stay cooped up inside all day?
